Motic's PA53 Digital Slide Scanning System is the a new digital slide scanning system solely developed by Motic based on our high quality microscope PA53. By stitching together high resolution images captured with high NA objective, complete information of any traditional samples slide are digitized and presented as a “Whole slide image WSI”. No matter it is traditional paraffin sectioned pathology slides; frozen section slide; or liquid biopsy cell suspension slides or microbiology smear, PA53 scanning system can scan and stitch the image with standard mode, high definition mode, with extended focus or z-stack stitched mode. It got no limitation on whether the sample are botany sample, zoology sample, or from human tissue sample.

PA53 FS6 Scan, this scanning platform provides full flexibility on scan and stitch of different fluorescent sample. We can select the use of HBO illuminator or high quality LED illuminator, using combination of different fluorochromes; with or without extended focus (excellent solution for FISH), or z-stacked

  • PA53 Scan series using a specially designed tube with built-in 1.2 Mpixel camera for focusing and a 5 Mpxiel high resolution sCMOS camera for imaging
  • Lumos LED is recommended for the scan which allow stable and homogenous illumination with very low consumable cost. HBO mercury burner can also be used if preferred
  • 100mm x 100mm high precision motorized stage with smallest step size of 10nm (repeatability better than 200nm) is used, relocation even with 100x objective is not a problem
  • Motorized 5x position nosepiece to allow smooth switching of objectives
  • Better quality as it is completed optical path with full Kohler illumination setting
  • High precision stage allow physical relocation of Region of Interest and rescan with high resolution high N.A. objective
  • No limitation on the use of objective, super high resolution scan with oil immersion objective becoming possible
  • No limitation on the use of contrasting methods, phase contrast, Polarizing contrast, etc… can be used. To scan sample without staining becoming possible
